How the Marker System Works
Every light pole on paved Beltline trails has a unique ID sticker.
When you call 911, read the number to dispatch.
They instantly see your exact coordinates.
Unpaved trails use standalone markers every 0.10 miles.
These also identify your location for emergency response.
APD Path Force uses these markers to reach you quickly.
They have direct access to the Beltline’s GIS system.
